2. Data We Collect

Local Data Storage: SunDay is designed as a privacy-first application. Your events, locations, and preferences are stored locally on your device. We do not maintain a central database of your personal events.

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services which may process data:

• Google Gemini API (AI Models): Used to generate weather predictions. When you request a forecast, the location and date are sent to Google's servers to generate the response.
• Google Places API: Used for location autocomplete functionality.
• Google AdMob: Used to display advertisements within the app. AdMob may collect device identifiers (such as the Advertising ID), usage data, and diagnostic information to serve and personalize ads. For more information, see Google's Privacy Policy.

4. App Permissions

SunDay requires the following device permissions to function:

• Internet Access: Required to fetch weather forecasts, location suggestions, and to serve advertisements via the third-party services listed above.
• Notifications: Used to send local reminders for your upcoming events. Notifications are scheduled locally on your device and are never sent through external servers. You can disable notifications at any time in the app settings.
• Network State: Used to check whether your device is connected to the internet before making API requests.
